MagnetMail's
contact management system provides powerful list management and database
search capabilities. Through the contact management system, you can build
email groups, filter data into targeted recipient groups, and manage individual
recipients. Specifically, the contact management system let's you:
Import
Data and Add Recipients. Adding recipients to the MagnetMail database
is easy. You can upload records from your database by using a CSV (Comma
Separated Value) file.
Individual
recipient profiles include standard fields such as first and last name,
address, phone, fax, etc. as well as up to 5 customizable fields (e.g.
membership number, web site address, notes, etc.). Custom fields can be
alpha or numeric and can contain up to 50 characters.
Create
Groups. Email messages are delivered to discrete groups that you create.
You can create an unlimited number of groups, such as customers, newsletter
recipients, conference invitees, press, etc.
Perform
Advanced Searches. MagnetMail's advanced search capabilities allow
you to create groups based on a recipient's personal data and responses
to your email messages. For example, you can create a group of recipients
who clicked on a specific link or a group who opened a certain email,
but did not click on a link.
Search
criteria includes all profile fields as well as:
- Emails
sent or not sent to recipients
- Emails
opened or not opened by recipients
- Links
clicked through or not clicked through by recipients
- Hard
or soft bounced messages
Export
Data. Transferring
data back to your main database is easy. You can export all or part of
the data from the MagnetMail database back into your original system in
a CSV file format.
